Women's Business Conference – FAQ
BOOKING & PAYMENTS:
How much are tickets?
In-person conference delegates tickets are £165 + vat for UK or R1,050 for SA. For Workshop, Expert Pod and other prices see the prospectus on the home page here.
What is included in the tickets?
Your delegate ticket gives you full access to every aspect of the event including entry to the finals of the awards should you wish to participate as well as any post event offers or replays of talks.
Can I register in person at the event?
No you can't register in person at the event, you will need to arrive at the event with the ticket on your phone to scan at the door.
Will registration close at any point?
We don't officially close registration but it is a very popular event with a maximum of 400 delegate capacity, so tickets could sell out.
Does the registration fee include travel costs for the conference?
All travel costs including air and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.
How and where can I get the budget to attend the event?
Ask your management or HR department if your company provides a budget for external training, most companies will offer this. You can of course choose to self-fund.
Is a group discount available?
Yes we are happy to provide 10% discount on delegate tickets for group bookings of 10 or more and 20% discount on delegate tickets for group bookings over 20.
Are discounts available on Expert Pods or Workshop.
No sadly not, since these are limited in number and are in high demand we cannot offer a discount.
Do I have to pay VAT?
We are required by law to charge VAT. However, the VAT is reclaimable after the event. (for UK - see tax settings for your country)
Can I get a VAT receipt for my booking?
Yes, you need to download it directly from Eventbrite, we do not provide one outside of Eventbrite.
What if I have to cancel?
We do not provide refunds but you can transfer your ticket to another delegate, simply email conference@womensbusiness.club with new delegate name, email, mobile phone and company name.
Can I advertise in the conference program?
Yes we have various advertising opportunities, please chat with us at conference@womensbusiness.club
How can my organisation become a conference sponsor?
We have limited sponsorship opportunities available, please take a look at the prospectus on our home page for more information or chat with us at conference@womensbusiness.club
Can I get an invitation letter to acquire a VISA in order to attend the event?
If you require a visa in order to attend a conference, we can issue you an official invitation for the application of a VISA only after the booking has been paid in full.
AT THE EVENT:
What should I bring to the conference?
Please arrive with your ticket loaded onto your mobile phone so we can scan you in. Also, come prepared with a notebook or suitable device to take notes however we cannot guarantee reliable WIFI should you wish to access the internet.
Do I have to attend the full day?
The conference starts at 9am and runs until 5pm. You are very welcome to attend the full day or any part thereof.
Is there a dress code?
Dress comfortably. We suggest business casual attire as appropriate for the event.
AFTER THE EVENT:
Will talks be available after the event?
Yes you can access the workshop replays after the event as well as Angela's talk however the special guest speaker's talk is not to be recorded and not available afterwards.
Am I able to get the full delegate list?
No we do not provide the delegate list or contact details of anyone involved in the event. It is adviseable to make relevant connections at the event and swap contact details where appropriate to do so.
